We are an evangelical Southern Baptist affiliated church. We belong to the Daviess-McLean Baptist Association, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
We follow the Baptist Faith and Message, last updated in 2000.
We believe the Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. Because God is the Bible's author, it is without error and completely true.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, that He lived a sinless, perfect human life while on this earth. We believe that He died for the sins of all, was buried, and was resurrected and seen by hundreds before His ascension to heaven.
We believe that by believing these things about Jesus Christ, and confessing Him as Lord and Savior, one is saved from one's sins and will be given eternity in heaven with Him and with God.
We believe that those who do not believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, died for our sins, was resurrected and ascended, will suffer an eternal life of hell.
